It's been a while!

I have been busy and have been checking in with my neighborhood but not posting. Too much to do!

Have you seen the newest Spiderman 3 preview? It looks awesome. I can't wiat to see it. Being a geeky family like we are, we will all go to see this one in the theatre. Luke was too young to see the others when they came out, but Lydia joined us for the last one. Lydia reads the MaryJane comics and so she loves her. I am always thrilled by the thought of superheroes. If only we had them in real life- people who could stop crime and the bad guys.

I have started a mini-business selling stamps and have been busy with that. I'm trying to organize everything so it's easily accessible without overtaking my life. I have been creating lots of samples to showcase my wares. I need to keep the samples simple so I don't scare off prospective customers with my craftiness. I am using "one stamp pad + one set of stamps= all these wonderful ideas" as my selling point because I've always hated overly-pushy demonstrators.

It is really cold outside and feels much more like the beginning of March than the beginning of April. It sucks for the kids because while they were in school it was really nice and sunny and warm and now that they're on break, it's cold and windy and damp. We did venture out yesterday and visited the "big red sculpture" that Luke always watches for when we drive past the river. Both kids were excited to actually get to touch and climb on the thing. Luke said he thought it was something from China. What do you think?
