2. What did you do last night?

Watched Marie Antoinette...definitely a beautifully created movie but sort of a downer. But I knew that going in. If you're artsy- watch it. You'll appreciate it.

3. The last thing you downloaded onto your computer?

Some stupid software update.

4. Have you ever licked a 9 volt battery?

yes...Deb wanted to know why? Because you can tell if it still has a charge. And it tingles.

5. Last time you swam in a pool?

A few weeks ago at Luke's hotel slumber party.

6. What are you wearing?

jeans and a red t-shirt

7. How many cars have you owned?

 4- a hundai excel we bought with money from our wedding, a second hand mini-van that I ran into the ground, a Saturn station wagon and my current Scion xB. Hub has one too. Mine's green- his is black.

 

 

8. Type of music you dislike most?

Most Rap and most R&B

9. Are you registered to vote?

I am. And I’m pretty fanatical about voting every time the polls are open because I feel like if you don’t vote, you give up your right to bitch about the election results and I want the right to bitch when the wrong people win, dammit!

Yes- basic + a few and then HBO. Can't wait for Sopranos and Big Love.

11. What kind of computer do you use?

We always used to be a Mac family and I miss it. Now we have an HP. It's okay.

12. Ever made a prank phone call?

Yep, but not since I was a teenager.

13. You like anyone right now?

I like lots of people. I’m a very nice person.  Says Deb.

Either.

15. Furthest place you ever travelled?

Minnesota

16.Do you have a garden?

I try. Really I do but I have a black thumb.

17. What’s your favorite comic strip?

I don't like comic strips or cartoons for the most part. But I do enjoy Far Side. Does that count?

18. Do you know all the words to the national anthem?

Yes. In my younger days I would actually sing it at sporting events. The first time was at Little League playoffs in my community. My friend's dad was the dad-in-charge.

19. Shower, morning or night?

Every morning...and sometimes later depending on my activities.

20. Best movie you’ve seen in the past month?

Past month- 300. Past year- Pan's Labyrinth.

21. Favorite pizza toppings?

Just cheese please. If you must add something I like pineapple. Yes pineapple.

22. Chips or popcorn?

depends on my mood and the situation 

23. What cell phone provider do you have?

Cingular. Or rather it used to be Cingular and that’s what still pops up on my phone, but they just did some sort of merger thingy and I think it’s now technically A T & T.

24. Have you ever smoked peanut shells?

25. Have you ever been in a beauty pageant?

In HS, I was part of the Winter Carnival competition for HS seniors. It was for girls all over the county. So I guess the answer is yes. But I didn't win.

Orange.

27. Who were the last people you sat at lunch with?

My family...hub and the kids yesterday at Olive Garden. We had a gift certificate. Thank you Nereida!

29. Who is your longest friend and how long?

I'll have to echo Deb on tihs one too. I guess my hub. I don't keep in touch with friends from high school or college very well. I met hub my first day of college in 1986. So it's him.

30. Last time you ate a homegrown tomato?

never...I hate tomoatoes except in really good sauce on pizza or on pasta sometimes.

31. Have you ever won a trophy?

No. Medals- yes but trophies- no.

Yes.

School, yes in middle school during my brief tenure at Catholic school.

not that I recall

 I think love is tenuous. Give me the million. 

40. Do you believe in love at first sight?

No...just lust at first site.

Yes- depends on the length and ending of the relationship.

42. Who was the last person you visited in the hospital?

Rachel.

43. Did you have long hair as a young kid?

Yes but not always. I had the typical "girl of the seventies" styles: the shag and the Dorothy Hammil but in between hose it was longish.

44. What message is on your voicemail machine?

"I can't answer right now. Leave me a messge. Have a nice day."

46. What was the name of your first pet?

Rainbow

47. What kind of back pack do you have, and what’s in it?

I have several I use depending on the situation. My favorite is a little froggy backpack I got a few years ago. The mouth zips open and for a little backpack it has a lot of space.

incoming: my hub and outgoing: my sister

49. What is one thing you are grateful for today?

Family

50. What do you think about most?

my kids...sometimes it's good and sometimes it's not so good. Like just now when they asked me to stop singing out loud.
